300th Post......

Well - I am guessing this should be a good post.... since it is the 300th one and all. Good thing I have something fun to announce!

No - I am not pregnant!!!

But my sister is!!!

or at least that is what she said when she called about a week ago to tell me that she is ENGAGED! She thought I would fall for the funny about her expecting a baby (She's not really pregnant!) .... but we were all super excited to hear that Tristan will officially be a part of the family, even though really he already is.

We are all so happy for you guys!

and Tristan, we hope you always love Annie like we do!

and Isaac loves you too.... or it might just be your hat?

Nope - Pretty sure he loves you too!

Welcome to the family and Congratulations on exciting times and planning ahead!

Happy Father's Day to the Two Best Daddies I know!!!

Children's Museum Visit 6-18-11

We ventured to the Children's Museum yesterday to spend some time with our friends Mawachi and ZeeZee (as Isaac says).

The kids played in the ball room for awhile but then got to enjoy a bubble demonstration. Every kid who wanted to get inside a bubble was allowed to do so. I am impressed that none of them popped it!

Malachi

I love the teardrop shape of the bubble over Malachi's head!

Zarena
The big kids were able to blow a bubble from inside the bubble. See????

Then, we went upstairs to the new Dinosaur (RRROOOOOAAAARRRR!!!) exhibit.

Isaac was in heaven!

I heard "Oh Wook.... a Dinosaur. Mommy, a Dinosaur!" for about 10 minutes straight.

Sitting and checking out the dinosaurs

Digging for fossils

and becoming a dinosaur "RRRRROOOOAAAARRR!!!!!!"

It was a fun morning had by all!

Parasailing

Day 3 of our cruise we stopped off in Castaway Cay.... Disney's Private Island.

It was a beautiful day!

In the pic above.... the staff were being trained on the shore.... It was fun to see how they train and how the extra rescue boats inflate. Nice way to pass the time waiting for the boat to come for Parasailing.

Shawn was excited!

Boarding the boat...

Sailing out to sea.

Going up!

Flying high in the sky

I think Shawn really enjoyed his time alone with his dad. Isaac and I spent time on the beach while they were away. More pics of that to come....

Sleeping on the Ship

Each night, when we were reunited and exhausted... we found our beds all pulled out and ready for sleeping.

Shawn slept on the bottom, Chris slept on the top

and Isaac..... Well.....

He slept WITH us!

Shawn really really really wanted to sleep on the top bunk but as we soon discovered.....

Gets a little sea sick!

It only happened at night within about an hour of laying down. Guess we should've figured that one out sooner.... just didn't make sense to us at first!

Pirate Party onboard the ship

After our dinner the second night, and our swim with the dolphins, we (Chad, Shawn, Isaac and I) went to the Pirate Party on the main deck of the pool. They have a sliding floor that covers the pools so that at night, you can have a big dance party.

The big screen on the main deck.

Our attempt to become pirates!

Yes - I look goofy....

I looked down just as Chad snapped the picture... thus resulting in a goofy eye picture for me and cute for the boys.

One of the dancers onboard the ship. He taught us all how to be pirates!

(Saying Aye Aye Captain!)

Saying Arrrr!!!

All the characters were there.....

See our dancer guy in the back behind Mickey Mouse???

Watching all the action.

and a quick picture with Daddy before we got Ice Cream!

Shawn's dolphin swim

I love how you can see the dolphin come up to push Shawn's foot!

Chris' Dolphin push

Chris getting pushed by dolphins....and losing his shorts!

Mom's glide across the bay

I think I titled this Shawn but I am pretty sure it is actually me!

Chillin on the beach

Okay - I'll admit... once we left the hammock and got in the water, I forgot to take any pictures...

Isaac loved the water and the big boys went out into this area with huge inflatables. Chad took a nap and I took Isaac swimming. It was such a nice way to spend an hour or so on the beach.

Bahamas

Pulling into the Bahamas

Boba does Bahamas....

Let me explain!

I bought this (somewhat expensive) carrier specifically for this trip.... but since Isaac had not been "carried since at least Christmas, I was unsure how he would fare. I would HIGHLY recommend this product (I get no compensation for saying so) but if you have a baby that you carried ... then this works beautifully as your child transitions to toddler size/age! I wore it for up to 4 hours one day in 95 degree weather without any issue (other than the obvious warmth - outside temp plus body heat got a little warm!).

Atlantis
At the prep station for the dolphin swim

Meeting the Dolphins!

The boys had an absolute blast!!!
(I did too!!!)

Dancing with the girls

Goofin' around...

The dolphins were sticking out their tongues

and then splashing water in the boys' faces.

A big dolphin hug

Prepping for a smooch!

Now it's Mom's turn!

A dance

All in all - This was probably the favorite activity of the whole entire trip.

The boys had a blast and I did too.

The only downfall was that Isaac was so in love with the dolphins,

he had an absolute meltdown on the dock when he saw that we were getting in

and he could not.

More beach pictures to come!
