So recently I had the opportunity come about to contribute to a blog that I have been following for about the last 2 or 2 1/2 years. I don't know why but I have been drawn in to pray specifically for a few families. I would check back and pray often for them. Maybe it is because a few of them receive care right here in Omaha. I felt connected I guess.
Anyway, the blog writer asked for people to help with updates on a weekly basis. I offered. I didn't even think twice about offering. (Like I needed something else to do right? I don't even blog here often!). So, if you are reading this and in any way feel compelled to go visit
the blog, meet the families and say a prayer of praise, thanksgiving or supplication.... please do! I think (hope) you will find some families to love on like I do!
In other news.... We've been to the zoo!
In more ways than one!
First - I got to see a kid-free movie for the first time in a LONG time with my friend Jill.
We saw We Bought a Zoo. Great Movie... Lots of Tears!
Isaac and I went to the zoo 2 times over the Winter Break.
First with his buddy Brayden Persinger...
You should hear Isaac say this name - C.U.T.E.!
