I love it

Over one of our visits to Clear Lake this summer, my aunts gave us an exersaucer for Isaac. What a nice gift! We loved it though we weren't sure how long it would be until Isaac was able to use it. Well, he is working on sitting up on his own and is almost 4 months old so we put it together last Friday and Isaac loves it!

What a ham!

(We love it too... He is contained and entertained!)

Thank you Aunts!

The boys are back in town!

So Chris and Shawn returned on Sunday. I don't know what order the pictures are in but there is one of Chris and Shawn by the pool, Big Brother with Littlest Brother, Chris and Sean Ramirez at Football tonight, one of Shawn celebrating his birthday last night and one of Isaac helping me study last night!

Malachi got out of the hospital today and he has a new sister too... The Ramirez family added Zarina Renee to their family today through adoption.

Pray for Malachi

Malachi (my friend Jill's son) is in the hospital. He spiked a fever last night and was admitted this morning. They are running a bunch of tests but as of now have no definite diagnosis of what's going on with him. They believe that he does not have Menengitis...Thankfully! This was one of the original thinkings since his high fever was not accompanied by any other symptoms. Please keep him and his family in your prayers over the next 48 hours while he is in the hospital. It's hard for such a little guy to have so much done to him (all the pricks and pokes at just 1 month of age!).

Thank you in advance -
Katie

What's New

First of all.... Something weird is up with Blogger. I have tried to change things and add color, but it always deletes it. Took 3 tries to get the pictures posted for Sweetie Pie in the Sky.

Well I forgot to write last week about Isaac's final trip to Midland's Hospital. We have been going there every other week for a Mommy and Me class. (It's basically a baby class for nursing moms - this is how we get an accurate weight on him so frequently!). Jill and Malachi went with us too. Since this was the last trip I had lots of questions. Now... to the weight

As of July 22nd, Isaac weighed 16 lbs 4 oz. YIKES! He is getting so big! He is up almost 7 lbs from birth. He is now almost 16 weeks old. I have about one more week of extended maternity leave (Aka summer) and then it is back to the daily grind.

Isaac initially rolled over from Tummy to Back towards his left. On Sunday, he again rolled from Tummy to Back only this time it was to his right. YEAH! He was showing off for Jill and trying to give Malachi a few pointers for the coming months.

Christopher and Shawn - My other two boys - come back from their summer visit to their mom's house in Kansas on Sunday. We are anxiously awaiting their return and the chance to get our family of 5 melded back together.

Tonight was the start of Football season here. Chad is possibly going to be assistant coaching again. Even though Chris isn't back yet, we both went to the draft tonight. (Yes they draft - It's a big city and competition starts young). Chris has moved up into the 11/12 year old leagues and Shawn has decided not to play this year. It was good to get out of the house, see familiar faces and rekindle old friendships. We go again on Thurs this week and then every day for the draft next week until the teams are chosen next Friday Aug. 7 (Which is also my first day back to work).

That's about all that's new around here. We'll keep you posted on any more changes/happpenings around these parts. Keep us posted on the news with you.

Pray for Stellan

This precious 8 month old peanut is fighting for his life as he has done for the majority of his life.
He has SVT - a severe heart condition
Over the weekend it became necessary for him to be hospitalized,
and things have very quickly gone downhill.
Please pray for him and his family.

It's good to be loved by you

Dear Aunt Annie,
I love you too! Thanks for snugglin me and taking good care of me while my mommy had to work. I am glad you like my smile and play with me, even when I puke on you a bit! Can't wait to see you again soon. Next time, make sure you pack my Grandma and Grandpa and that Tristan guy too. I am sending you big wet smoochy kisses on the nose.
Love,
Isaac
