Her Christmas present was a picture of her only 3 great grandchildren.

Isaac was the first biological grandchild and he lit up her face!

I will cherish these photos forever.

Gettin' Love/Givin' Love

Something about this picture makes me laugh!

We have been so busy this past week that I am just now loading the pictures onto the computer. Last weekend, Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Annie came to visit last weekend. Grandma and Grandpa stayed home on Saturday with the little dude and the big boys, Annie, Chad and I went skiing at Mt. Crescent. It was a fun-filled exciting day. (More on that to come - as well as more pictures from the skiing..... Stay tuned!)

Walking???? Already???

So I wasn't expecting it at all, but on Wednesday night (Feb. 17) Isaac decided after his bath would be a great time to try out a few steps on his own.

I stood him up after bath to clean up the floor and the little stinker took two steps. He showed off again for Dad when he got home from church. The next morning, he just wasn't feeling it but later that night he sure gave me a run for my money. He took 3-4 steps at the Welcome Center! It won't be long now.

In other news, on Tuesday Isaac broke his 3rd tooth through. He is still working on number 4 but at least one is done. Hooray!!!

10 Months Old

Today....

This little guy turned 10 months old!

Where has the time gone?

GEE.... You can't tell that this mom has the camera out a lot....

Say CHEESE!

With my hair just cut tonight....

Makes me look like a big boy don't you think?

At 10 Months Old:

* Once again sleeps through the night (7:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)

* Finally crawls with his tummy off the floor

* Pulls to a stand on everything

* Stands independently for 3-5 seconds

* Scoots around furniture

* Loves the kitchen.... because that is where the pots and pans are

* Recently put a pot on his head and freaked out b/c he couldn't figure out how to get it off!

* Still has only two teeth (see pictures) but top ones appear ready to pop through

* Nurses 4 times a day

* Eats 3 meals and 2 snacks

* Likes fresh pineapple, pork n' beans, graham crackers, puffs, bread products, spaghettios, and refried beans.
* Says Dada and means it

* Jabbers a lot ... momma, nana, es (yes?), nah (no?), mmm, duh (dog?) and rff (made to the dog .... possibly an attempt to engage the dog

* Uses a pacifier only at nap/night

* Still melts my heart with every snuggle, smile, squeal or cute look in his eye.

Follows the schedule of

6:30 - Wake/Nurse

8:00 - Breakfast

8:30 - Nap

9:30 - Wake/Play

11:00 - Lunch

12:30 - Nurse

1:00 - Nap

3:00 - Wake/Snack

6:00 - Supper

7:00 - Nurse

7:30 - Jammies/Books/Bed

He is a great baby! His schedule is very predictable and it keeps him happy all day long.

We love you Isaac!
