Swingin' into Spring
We spent our Easter with our family of 5. After having Chad TDY to Oklahoma City this week, and the big boys with their mom, it was nice to get everyone back under one roof.
Chad was amazed at how much Isaac has changed over the past week. He is officially a walker. Very little crawling takes place anymore. Such a big boy!
Speaking of big boys... Please say a little prayer for my big boys. Their mom (who lives in KS) is preparing to go through a divorce. The boys just learned of this over the past week. I know it is weighing heavily on their hearts. Please keep them in your thoughts.
In other BIG BOY news.... Isaac is 51 weeks old (i.e. only a week away from his big birthday!) It makes me so happy and so sad at the same time. Where does the time go? Before we know it, he will be ready for school! My oh my how the time flies. I am one of the luckiest people in the world. I can't believe that I get to be his mom! Love him to bits!!!
For Easter, we went to church, did some much needed grocery shopping, saw a movie (the 3 big boys), took a nap (mom and Isaac), ate great food from the grill and went for a walk. We spent a little time at the park. Enjoy the pics!

Trip to the Zoo
The weather was a little nicer today so we took a short trip to the zoo. It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air.
What a monkey! 
Measuring up in size....This time Isaac could stand on his own!
Check out those new shoes! Gotta have 'em now that I am a walking boy.
Shawn is about 4 1/2 feet tall now.

CoCo Keys - Weekend in Kansas City
A few weekends ago - on March 5th - we went to Kansas City for the night. We stayed and played at the hotel. It was Isaac's first time and the boys had a blast. Sorry there are not too many pics of the big boys.... They move to fast and the waterslides do not produce great pictures.

We had a great weekend away with our family and a few close friends.
We hope to be able to do it again soon - and might even go next fall ....
because the San Fransisco 49ers will be playing the Kansas City Chiefs!

11 months
11 months old today!
Only one month till we celebrate a birthday...
What's a mom to do?
At 11 Months Isaac is...
* walking along all furniture
* taking up to 10 steps at a time
* has 4 teeth and is working on getting # 5
* eats all bread products and loves pizza!
* still eats lots of baby food and Gerber products
* likes to eat off of a fork from Mom or Dad's plate
* jabbers non-stop - is working on what a monkey says...Ah Ah Ah
* tries to imitate lip popping.... hilarious!
* enjoys books
* still nurses or drinks a bottle 4 times a day
* goes to bed at 7:45 and gets up at 6:30.
(He's a great sleeper now... except those few nights when the teeth hurt)
* snuggles.... mmmm.... love those moments
* gives the biggest open mouth, slobbery, wet kisses
* says momma and dadda and means it
* still loves music ... and has started dancing to it by bouncing (very cute... reminds me of the Beyonce video on youtube)
* went swimming ... hated it at first.... loved it after a nap
LOVE THIS BOY!!!
