Tired, but Thankful

Whew! I am tired. Tired of Laundry, Tired of sanitizing, Tired of whining, Tired of sickness!

As of tonight, I have still not gotten sick (knock on wood) but everyone else in the house has, and Shawn had a 2nd round of it again last night. We spend 2 1/2 hours in the ER thinking that he was possibly suffering from appendicitis. Nope... Just the bug again....Kids!

With all the sickness, we have tried to stay home. This has led to some creative and interesting activities.

We did not have any snow until about 10:00 this morning, and Isaac has still not had a chance to really try out his sled, so he talked his big brother....

into pulling him around the house!

What a cheeseball! I got out the camera and he immediately says "Cheese" with a cheesy face.

Later in the week, Chris and Isaac had a little battle. Chris wore his head gear (my new winter hat) and Isaac put on the protective gloves.

Chris got the upper hand first with a head lock.
(Isaac thought it was hilarious - giggled the whole time!)

Then Isaac got in the Left hook and took Chris out.
Again, laughing all the time.

These two actually liked each other for a short bit. I found them watching a video clip of a cartoon in Shawn's room on the top bunk..... I think this may have been the reason for round 2 of the sickness.

(Just making sure there is plenty of evidence that they did, in fact, like each other at one point on one certain day!)

When everyone seemed rested and well (didn't know that round 2 would be gracing our presence shortly), we headed to Bounce U. They have a bunch of blow up slides, tunnels, and structures.

Isaac practiced his hand-eye coordination.

Chris stepped in to help a bit.

This was a fave. A huge slide. All I have to say is that I earned every bit of pizza I ate later that night by carrying my 30 lb 21 month old up the stairs for this thing about 20 times.

Crazy kids!

Isaac only liked it if he rode on my lap.
Maybe next time he will be a little more adventurous!

Now...
We are flipping over the fact that tomorrow is a SNOW DAY!

YAHOO!!!
