Fall Fun

This morning,

Before Chris and Dad woke up

We got the raking done

Shawn, Isaac and me.

First - We raked all the leaves into a big pile.

Or used a shovel ~

Then took a running start ...





  

and JUMPED INTO THE LEAF PILE!!!



This was Isaac's first real leaf experience.
He thought it was funny.

Shawn showed off his mad jumping skills.

 When all the jumping was done, we got busy putting the leaves in the bucket.

 

Isaac used the shovel.

I love his lips and how hard the work was

(or at least it looks that way with his lips pursed like that)

Isaac loved getting candy.

They ate pizza and off they went.

Glad the Dr. said the cold weather

would be good for the croup.

Family in Town

A few weeks back, my family came to visit. 

Grandma, Grandpa and Annie!

We had no major plans (other than the pumpkin patch but more about that later) so we

spent our time cooking and playing dominoes.

She's having fun!  No really, she is... I think she won if I remember!

Forced him to play at least 3 rounds.
He later admitted... it was "kinda fun"
Glad to know the torture wasn't all bad!
(Mom was trying not to get involved with the drama of the situation I think)



Beautiful wall hanging that Mom and Dad gave us for our 5th anniversary.


So our plan was to go to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday night.  However, the weather had other ideas.  It was chilly, damp and lightly raining.  Blech!  The outdoor activities would not be much fun.  So we weighed out all the other options and ended up going to the Amazing Pizza Machine.  All in all.... a great choice I think!
