 When we got home from dropping Chris at the dance, this little one had a case of jealousy. 

He quickly requested a photo shoot by the tree "like brother." 

Who am I to deny such a request - besides - I got some pretty cute/funny photos.

 The Stats:

Game on Friday - Won! 

Marched in the Band on Saturday - Won Prelims - didn't compete in finals

Saturday Night - 7 - 10 - Dance! 

Date:  a whole group of girls (from what I could see!) 

Really though - he danced with his best friend more than anyone else.... and had mixed feelings (that whole - I am growing up/I might like this girl/Is this the right way to dance with a girl - feelings!)

This was so cute - They were so giddy and unsure - but truly are best friends.  

 We are lucky she's got his back! 

Then I asked about a group picture and they all started to walk away - so I did what any new "High School Parent" would do.... Stalked and took pictures from the comfort of my car!

This was the very first event of my oldest son's high school career. 

Holy Moly! 

We are really at this stage... already! 

Where did that little 6 year old boy go who was snuggled between on the couch, practicing his reading every night go? 

So anyway, off we went to the Bellevue East Football Stadium....for the first football game of the year -

Living Room Pictures

The new "accent" wall in our living room

The lilies were the first part of the transformation.  

Behind them is a picture of a wolf. 

Not that it wasn't a decent photo, 

I just thought this was a bit....

nicer. 

The picture got changed a couple months ago, and thus inspired the rest of the colors for the living room. 

The other walls are a light gray/white color.  It looks so fresh and clean!

These pictures were taken at JC Penney's.  My mom and I bought boards, painted them black and then decoupaged the pictures to the boards.  They are my favorite part of the living room. 

The flower was my mother's day gift, and the candle is a little piece of my sister (a gift from her!) 

A recent picture of the boys and a family sign.  The sign was made by Andrea.  Nope - I don't know her but I this is the one and only thing I have ever won off a blog contest.  I love it!  Thanks Andrea.  You can check her out at ... - Signs by Andrea

The last shelf holds items to remind us of our wedding day.  

The statue (I believe ... hey the day was almost 6 years ago and a lot has happened in those 6 years!) was given to us as a gift.  It is a man & woman holding each other with the phrase "to have and to hold" across the bottom.  The bouquet of flowers are mine from the wedding.  I picked them out, arranged them and made the bouquet on a whim one day before the wedding.  Still like them to this day! 

So there you have it... our new wall!
