Still here, still pregnant for another two weeks (at most) ....
Chad is working his 2nd to last weekend in the USAF. He begins his terminal leave as soon as baby girl arrives! Retirement actually occurs July 1, 2014 but he will no longer report to the base.
God is good however, because Chad begins a new job at Cintas in Omaha on April 14th. It is for this reason that baby girl will be "evicted" no later than April 4th. This makes mom very happy!
Chris also begins a new job - his first! Today in fact. He will be a server at a local restaurant here. He is also playing in the orchestra for the High School Musical "Honk" and running track.
Shawn is getting ready for confirmation in May and finishing up the 8th grade.... whew - 2 in high school next year! He is preparing to run track as well.
Isaac is getting ready to turn 5! What? How can my baby boy be this old already? He is so excited for his baby sister to get here....hope that excitement lasts once she actually arrives! Isaac was also enrolled to begin Kindergarten in the fall. He was accepted into the school where I teach so we will go to school together each morning! I am one happy momma!
Baby Girl is still kicking and cooking away in the "crockpot." She gave us no indication as to what she will look like so we are anxious to meet this little one! She still remains nameless. At this point, we are at 3 cm and ready to go.... any day any time, just waiting for consistent contractions!
Momma is holding it all together.... taking a minute to whine though - this pregnancy will be our last. There have been many trials and hurdles along our way which encourage us to have faith that our family will be complete once BG arrives. I have been in a boot/air cast on my left foot since the Tuesday after the Super Bowl. That in combination with general pregnancy waddling.... makes for lots of aches and pains. I have numbness and tingling in my right hand at all times (for about the past month). Being right handed... this makes basic tasks very difficult. There has only been one Doctor appointment thus far which did not include needles, shots, blood draws or the like! I have low iron as well! As you can see... this go around... not a smooth as the last, but I am certain she will be worth every drop of pain along the way!
Sooo.... updates will be posted when she arrives. Hoping for a birth weight below 9 lbs this time! (Isaac was 9 lbs 7 oz).
Til then!

Leaving the Military???
Really???
We are really here? Am I ready? Is he ready? Is this really happening?
With all the pending military cuts, we are contemplating a change.
As Chad prepares to start interviews and the job search life gets a little uncertain.
But then, the military keeps us hopping too.
Here goes nothing I guess!

33 weeks .... 7 to go
Today marks 33 weeks of this pregnancy.
Some days seem to have gone fast.... others... not so much.
Hoping it all goes smoothly!
Isaac has his big brother class tonight and we have the hospital tour next week.... time will fly from here!

ChristmasTines Day
My family!
We finally were able to celebrate Christmas this past weekend. Our family has had this "joke" if you will with these Zubaz pants.
Dad had a pair when we (Annie and I) were young. Isaac (my 4 yr old) got a pair for Christmas last year after we found a kiosk selling them in the mall. Isaac loved matching Grandpa.
Well - Grandbaby Willow couldn't be left out... and likewise, either could Shawn and Chris.
and so the "joke" continued...which led to this picture!
LOVE THEM!

August Came.... and August went!
So as August comes to a close - I thought I should post all the busy things going on this last month.
We check on the house daily. After two weeks of ZERO progress, we are back on track. The ceilings are all done, the walls are all up and drywalled. Waiting for the final sanding to take place. Then we should hopefully be getting close to our 60 day no miss date! There is an end in sight!
We made a trip to Kansas City - Oceans and Worlds of Fun
We made a family trip to the zoo.
The Arrows to Aerospace Parade took place. Isaac was so excited to walk in his first parade.
These girls announced that they were marrying Isaac
(both of them - let's talk about our religion buddy!) after the parade. Glad we didn't have any plans!
He walked the entire parade route - which I would guess to be about a mile and a half. (plus the pre-parade walk - to get to the start which added another half mile or so!)
Last weekend - We started Lil Raskels Soccer.
He wasn't so sure simply because he didn't know anyone. But that quickly changed. More on Soccer later - suffice it to say though - HE LOVES IT!
So Glad Fall is finally here!
Here's to all the fall activities.
One is in Cross Country
One is in Marching Band
and
One is in Swimming and Soccer
Gonna Be Busy - But we wouldn't have it any other way!

Busy Busy Busy
Well, Today I went back to school.... Took some time off here to enjoy what was left of summer!
So - it's long overdue time for some updates and some pictures.
The house - obvious progress!
We visited Clear Lake over the 4th - Enjoyed some time with friends!
So glad my sister introduced us to the Wilson's and their cute kiddos!
It was also Mom and Dad's 35th wedding anniversary
Happy Anniversary!
We enjoyed lots of time with the littlest - soaking him up as he grows ridiculously fast!
Annie and Patrick announced a new arrival coming shortly after the first of the year!
I get to be an AUNTIE!!!
The weather was beautiful - so we enjoyed a walk by the lake.
And a surprise splash at the splash pad.
More time enjoying the lake

Soaking up the attention - what a goof ball!
Isaac entertained us with his astounding magic skills one night.
Check out the shock on Aunt Annie's face!
Priceless!
Rounded out the visit with a little game of baseball with great-grandpa.
We've enjoyed our summer.
We put the house on the market.
Sold the house 20 days later.
Switched daycare/preschool
Had inspections and made fixes
Stressed out a lot about the selling of the house
Packed a lot
Moved into an apartment- YUCK!
Unpacked
Swam at the pool - A lot! (Isaac turned into a fish this summer)
Soaked up lots of time with family and extended family.
As our families continue to grow - I am reminded of how thankful I am to have my family in our lives. My children are lucky to have grandparents and aunts and uncles that love them. It is always a good time when it's spent with family.
Here's to you Summer 2013!
